The lightest premium climbing line available of its size, the SamsonDry technology limits water absorption to <5% keeping your line lighter and safer in wet conditions. Vortex SD meets UIAA standards, has excellent knot-holding ability, works well with hardware, and is great for footlocking. Vortex SD has 25-30% lower elongation when used at the same load compared to ropes of similar size.
