Control-Com AMi boasts a unique “Dynamic Mesh Communication” (DMC) technology developed by Cardo Systems to provide a complete hearing protection, headset solution for any situation. It is completely autonomous (off grid), meaning that it doesn’t require a base station or internet connection like cell networks or DECT. It is also self-healing, adapting in real time based on the flow of the units. If a headset goes out of range or leaves the network, all other units work together to leapfrog that signal and keep the connection going for the rest of the group. This state-of-the-art voice activated, conversational and hands-free product does away with the need to constantly push buttons and offers features such as, optional 1:1 private chat among group members, optional muting of group conversations, emergency notifications, and optional merging of external audio sources (ex. 2-way radio or cellphone) into ongoing group conversation.
