Description: A very strong offset D connector with a 32kN major axis that is ideal for rescue loads and heavy duty rigging. The clean nose gate uses our patented Taperlock design and our toughest barrel to give very strong gate open and side face strengths. Recommended for general use where weight saving and high strength are important.

Details: The Offset D connector shape takes the optimal loading of a D-shaped connector but with an increased internal volume at one end - the basket. This adds to the positivity in the hand, especially when wearing gloves.

DMM's patented 'Taperlock' closing mechanism increases gate push-in and cross gate strength using a special flared profile on the nose of the carabiner, as well as allowing a snag free connection for your ropes, slings and devices.

Many of our connectors can be supplied cross-drilled to accommodate captive bars. This means that the lanyard or attachment cannot be removed and ensures that the direction of force applied in the event of a fall is along the major axis of the connector, giving maximum strength and holding power. The captive bars themselves are not for load bearing use.
