Description: Originally developed by tree care pioneer Jerry Beranek, the Pelican Beranek Lanyard consists of a hand-spliced, double braid polyester rope with a double-locking safety snap hook at one end and a back spliced bitter end. The braided flip line is used with a prusik runner to complete the Beranek system. The forged steel safety snap hook is rated at 23 kN (5,000 lbs) and enforced with a plastic round thimble.
