Description: At Height - Yale Beeline Sewn Split Tail Prusik - 8mm Bee-Line is the first rope designed to wick the heat of friction away from a knot. The “Power of Aramid” is brought to bear in this roes structure. Technora Aramid fibre has heat resistance through 800 degrees F and excellent cut resistance.In use kinetic energy caused by rappelling on the knot or friction hitch, is converted into thermal energy. If left with no place to go it can melt your rope. In introducing Aramid fibre into the rope a higher level of heat can be tolerated without damage to either the cord or the climbing line.
