Each razor sharp blade is made from high carbon, Japanese SK5 steel, and features a full tang, which means blade extends all the way through the handle. It’s the full tang that gives the Notch Legacy handsaws the cutting power and balance tree workers need. Blade is terminated with bullnose which prevents damage to the scabbard during saw insertion and removal.

Details: The teeth on the blades are tri-edge, triple-sharp teeth, and are impulse hardened to maintain maximum sharpness.
